Shockwave Therapy
5-treatment package
Shockwave therapy is a modern, non-invasive method used, among others, for soft-tissue overload conditions. It has an analgesic effect and supports tissue regeneration—especially when conventional approaches haven’t delivered the expected improvement.
Why choose the 5-treatment package?
-
A full course commonly used in clinical practice
-
Greater chance of a stable result compared with a single treatment
-
Ability to adjust parameters based on tissue response throughout the series
Most common indications (examples)
-
Tennis/golfer’s elbow; tendinopathies (Achilles tendon, patellar tendon)
-
Heel pain / plantar fascia pain, heel spur
-
Overload-related pain around the hip and the iliotibial band area
What the treatment looks like
A session usually takes about 5–10 minutes. Treatment parameters are tailored to the condition and the patient’s sensitivity. Most often, a series of several sessions is performed at intervals recommended by your physiotherapist.
Rehasport advantages
-
Treatment is always integrated into a rehabilitation plan (not a stand-alone procedure with no follow-up)
-
Therapy tailored to your goal: pain relief + improved function and tissue load tolerance
-
Rehabilitation team care within a “movement medicine” model
Important information
Shockwave therapy is not suitable for everyone (e.g., certain medical conditions, pregnancy, clotting disorders—eligibility is always confirmed during qualification). Before starting a course, we perform a brief assessment and qualification.
